“What a fantastic service. I would just like to thank all the people associated with GCTA and a special thanks for to the drivers who transported us on the evening.
As a small social neighbourhood group in Brackley, 14 of us wanted to travel together for one of our members memorable birthday celebration at Sulgrave Manor. The GCTA minibus offered us the opportunity to do this, with minimal fuss, in a nice clean vehicle and with good reliable drivers. The whole process from start to finish was very well run.

Grimsbury Scout Group
“1st Grimsbury Scout spent the weekend in Derbyshire near Matlock. On the
Saturday they completed a 18 km circular walk a route which included Chatsworth
House, Edensor, and Calton Pastures. On the Sunday the Scouts hired bicycles and
cycled 25km along the northern part of the Tissington Trail. We stay over at a local
campsite called Tansley Wood. The Scout Group were grateful to use the
Community Minibus and hope to do so again in the future. We were able to provide
this activity weekend at a much lower cost than normal as we didn’t need to pay to
hire a minibus. 1st Grimsbury Scouts meet on Thursdays at their Scout Hut in
Grimsbury. We welcome new members to Scouts (10 to 15), Beaver Scouts (6 to 8
years) and Cub Scouts (8 to 10 years) on Fridays. Adult Volunteers are also
welcome. The Scout Group currently provides informal programme of activities to
over 60 young people in the community supported by 10 adult volunteers.”
Greatworth Walking Group
“I would just like to say how much the minibus is appreciated by the walking group. It has
proved to be a valuable asset, and has opened up new walking routes to us.
When we go on a walk it is so good to use the bus, people can sit together and have a chat
and a laugh on the trip. This makes the group so much more enjoyable and we can also go
further afield. I would definitely encourage more groups to use it,

The Ladybirds
“The Ladybirds Group would like to thank the GCTA for safely driving us to our outing
destinations once a month. We are very grateful for this service as our members are women of a certain age and in the past have had to get ourselves to our destinations. All the drivers have been excellent, friendly helpful and courteous and long may this service
continue.
